Swim Smooth and World Triathlon Renew Partnership to Enhance Global Coach Education
World Triathlon is pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with Swim Smooth, extending a fruitful collaboration that began in 2014. This renewed partnership will see Swim Smooth’s innovative coaching resources integrated into the new Swim Smooth GURU platform, aiming to elevate coaching standards in 119 countries.
Since 2014, Swim Smooth has provided World Triathlon with comprehensive written, video, and presentation materials for its sport development coaching courses. The renewed partnership will embed these resources directly into World Triathlon’s coach Education Hub, facilitating a more seamless and effective learning experience for triathlon coaches worldwide. The partnership will launch with a pilot project in Korea before expanding internationally.

British Triathlon partners with Swim Smooth
Swim Smooth is the official swimming education partner of British Triathlon, helping to support the development of coaches affiliated with the national governing body.
Through this partnership, Swim Smooth, led by founder and head coach, Paul Newsome, will produce bespoke content for British Triathlon coaches, as the governing body seeks to help coaches grow and develop their skills.
The content that will be produced will aim to educate coaches on up-to-date best practices for swimming in different contexts, as well as training techniques for all levels of participation, providing coaches and their athletes with direct access to advice and guidance.
Swim Smooth is a renowned swim coaching organization that has helped thousands of swimmers and triathletes around the world develop their swimming technique and efficiency in the pool and open water.
Through their training content, knowledge and accredited coaches, Swim Smooth users can access training sessions, tips and steps to help them take that first or next step.
The partnership will also enable Swim Smooth coaches to be available as mentors to coaches and coaching tutors, helping to further develop the skills of coaches and those delivering training on behalf of British Triathlon.
