How to Become a Swim Smooth Coach:

Stage 1: 7-day Video Analysis Bootcamp

  • This course is conducted purely online and designed to introduce you to the technical skills, equipment and software required to run a successful 1-2-1 Video Analysis Session

  • A one-time fee to access our 7-day Video Analysis Bootcamp for a period of 12 months.

  • Any coach or swimming enthusiast can register for the 7-day Video Analysis Bootcamp and get instant access to the course which is designed to be drip-fed over the period of 7 days, but accessible for up to 12 months.

  • Access is immediate and available 24/7.

Stage 2: 7-day Swim Smooth Certfication Course

  • This 7-day* Coach Certification Course is designed to take the skills and knowledge of the equipment and software you have studied in the 7-day Video Analysis Bootcamp and develop a deeper insight into how to develop the more nuanced aspects of both 1-to-1 and group delivery using Swim Smooth Methodology.

  • Includes 1st year's license payment once Certified.

  • Coaches seeking to take their swim coaching to a higher level can apply to attend the 7-day Coach Certification Course upon successful completion of the 7-day Video Analysis Bootcamp.

Stage 3: Mentoring, Assessment & Certification

  • Remote learning and mentoring with a Swim Smooth Mentor Coach both before, during and after your certification course.

  • Your training. mentoring and certification are included in Year 1 of your certification fees.

    Year 1 will commence upon the start of your remote mentoring prior to attending your certification course.

    We have a minimum 3-year commitment to becoming a Swim Smooth Coach given the time and energy invested in your mentoring, training and assessment.

    Your ongoing annual license fee provides the following:

    1. use of all internationally trademarked Swim Smooth logos on your own website and promotional materials, either as “Swim Smooth X-LOCATION” or “X Powered by Swim Smooth”;
    2. prominent promotion and listing of all your services on the www.swimsmooth.com and www.swimsmooth.guru websites;
    3. direct linking of your coaching profile to remote users of the Swim Smooth GURU within your region;
    4. regular promotions and listing via the once-weekly blog which is read by ~120,000 swimmers and triathletes each week;
    5. promotion of your services on our various social media channels, i.e. YouTube, Facebook, Instagram;
    6. offline access to all of Swim Smooth’s coaching resources and video content;
    7. the Swim Smooth Coaching Manual - a comprehensive guide to operating as a Swim Smooth Coach;
    8. affiliate links to subscriptions of the Swim Smooth GURU earning you 20% of the monthly / annual fee for each new sign-up for the lifetime of that swimmer’s access to the GURU;
    9. 80% commission on delivery of the Swim Smooth GURU Ultimate level;
    10. provision of all presentation materials to allow you to deliver 1-day Swim Smooth Clinics.

    On top of this, you will be joining an elite network of Swim Smooth Coaches each of whom are passionate about sharing their experiences and what works with you.

  • All coaches must complete a set amount of assessment modules designed to upskill you and make you become a PRO Swim Smooth Coach!

  • Mentoring is an ongoing process from the time of selection, through your certification course and until you are fully certified.

  • Subject to Stages 1 and 2 being completed to a high standard with evidence of our Core Values being met as a worthy representative of Swim Smooth, you will be invited to complete full certification as a Swim Smooth Coach.
